Physiotherapy
The THERAPY
There can be many different causes of ailments of the support and musculoskeletal system; these require precise analysis and a correspondingly individually adapted therapy.
Intervertebral discs need not be the only cause of pain. Ligaments, muscles and sinews, bursas, articular capsules, periosteum and bones are rich in nerve fibres and can ache.
The physiotherapist can identify interference in the course of movement or the co-ordination of movements and with appropriate exercises can stretch or strengthen the musculature or release blockages in the joints.
When is therapy important?
For every type of spinal problem with or without pain, interference in movement following an operation or immobilisation of the arm or leg joints (shoulder, elbow, hip, knee etc.), myasthenia, shortened muscles, movement disorders for whatever cause.
