Tergumed, Medical Training Therapy (MTT)
The THERAPY
Medical training therapy is controlled training for the whole body, which individually covers the areas of strength, stamina and/or co-ordination to improve or overcomes physical deficiencies.
The training involves the use of special strength training and cardio equipment plus additional special exercises supervised by physiotherapists or a sports science graduate.
Not possible if:
acute joint inflammation or serious lung or cardiovascular diseases exist
Cardiovascular test
IPN®Test of the Institute for Prevention and Aftercare
This test involves a cardiovascular endurance test in stages, which is carried out on a cycle ergometer and your endurance capability is assessed. The data collected serves as the basis for targeted endurance training on the clinically tested Kardiomed® endurance apparatus.
Galileo® vibration training apparatus:
The apparatus works like a see-saw with alternating side to side action of a platform (vibration training).
Through this vibration the so-called involuntary stretch reflex is activated, which contracts the leg muscles right up to the torso.
Depending on the frequency this will lead to a strengthening or relaxing of the
muscles.
MFT® Balance co-ordination test:
This test permits an assessment of co-ordination capability and balance, and presents this graphically on a computer screen.
After determining the base state, training progress can be measured and documented.
