The market town Bad Schallerbach is situated in the middle of the picturesque and hilly Hausruckviertel at an altitude of 308 m. The Danube river bank, Linz, the cultural and federal state capital of Upper Austria and the Roman city of Wels are only a few kilometres away. The town of Bad Schallerbach has approx. 3.600 inhabitants. Ever since the development of the thermal sulphur spa in 1918, this Upper Austrian market town was predestined to become a renowned thermal spa and cure location. Today Bad Schallerbach is home to one of Austria’s most modern and family-friendly thermal spas.

The Bad Schallerbach Tourism Office Vitalwelt at Atrium event centre is open Mondays to Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12 am. Here you can borrow bikes, e-bikes, accessories such as helmets and booster seats and Nordic walking sticks for a small fee.
